Flying above casting shadows of black,
Lost treasure holders lost dead in their tracks,
A murder of killers sings night to sunrise,
As the crows claim rewards with their eyes.
Feasting on flesh before scavenging gold,
The wisest of birds flock together through cold,
A murder of crows that farms on other’s death,
Waiting for you to cast your last breath.
Foreshadowing the reaper coming near,
Black birds that caw to signal death and fear,
Every pathway just leads to the same end,
As the ravens swoop above once again.
Higher than doves across valleys of death,
Scavenging prizes upon human-flesh,
Songs echo out telling tales of the dead,
As the countryside bleeds crimson red.
Finding yourself backed within a corner,
Edgar’s poem starts to read “nevermore”,
Your life flashed before you within your last day,
As the sight in your eyes starts to fade.
All of these memories are now meaningless,
Pondering life swerving in the abyss,
Nihilistic thoughts are all you have left,
As you realize you have reached your death.

Sad and alone, my life lost all its meaning.
Why can’t I find a way to be free of this curse?

And I’m feeling all alone, like a king upon his throne.
But solitude is prone to rot my flesh and bones, as I still long for home.
I’m sad and alone, and stranded from my home.
I know I should adapt, but that take patience,
And that’s something I lack when I’m alone.
Are you out there? My nostalgia, please go away and show me the light.
You just manifest, all my headspace, until I become too attached.
Pain and sorrow, joy and mercy, you brought me up just to pull me down.
Now I have to let you go now, and leave it all to the end.
